The following words will explain to prospective clients what to expect from my work.
During the first meeting the style is discussed and fabric is chosen. While I draw a sketch, you may correct it and suggest ideas and trimmings. Then measurements are taken or the muslin is fitted tightly around the body.
After the decision about the style has been made, I make a custom pattern for the client. I use neither commercial patterns nor templates and I never duplicate any design.
On the next meeting I fit the muslin prototype of the future garment.
Then the real fabric is finally cut and the garment is prepared for the first "real" fitting. There might be one or even more fittings depending on the complexity of the style.
The garment is ready for pick up. I put the pattern and the sketch into your personal file and keep it confidential.
You can schedule an appointment at any time just to view my works without any obligations to place an order. I do not charge clients for the consultations.
Usually my clients wear clothes I make for many years. Work that I did ten years ago continues looking good. I never do any alterations or repairs of store-bought clothes or garments other designers made.
